The Digby Hall in Hound Street will become a vaccination centre as soon as the new COVID-19 vaccine arrives.
It’s estimated that many thousands of Sherborne residents will be on the priority list for the COVID jabs.
Councillors agreed unanimously that the Digby Hall – next door to the library – should be used as the main mass vaccination centre for as long as necessary.
The Sherborne COVID vaccination programme is being organised by the Grove Medical Centre, Apples Surgery and the GP practice in Yetminster.
