Faster broadband is now available to some properties on The Ridgeway in Sherborne through full fibre (also known as Fibre To The Premises or FTTP).

Some people may not know how to take a better service (it is not automatic)

The properties are in the following postcode (although not all properties in this postcode area necessarily have access): DT9 6DB

Anyone who would like a better internet service should call their preferred internet provider from the list on the Openreach website (https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/fttp-providers) and choose a package that suits them. Although the high-end speeds offered by full fibre are more expensive, you only pay for the speed you order, regardless of technology. Once a package is chosen the provider will arrange for the faster service to be installed.
