Grounds Maintenance Operative (Temporary) – Salary Grade SCP 4 £19,264
Sherborne Town Council wishes to appoint a Temporary Grounds Maintenance Operative to start as soon as possible. It is envisaged that the post-holder will be in place until the end of September 2022. The successful applicant will work as part of the team maintaining a variety of areas to include allotments, buildings, highway verges, open spaces, parks, play areas, sports pitches and a cemetery. Experience of working with a range of grounds maintenance equipment to include strimmer’s and leaf blowers is required and basic building maintenance skills would be an added advantage.
The position is full time, 39 hours a week working Monday to Friday. A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
