On Thursday 11 January 2024, the Mayor of Sherborne, Cllr Margaret Crossman attended the Sherborne Business Awards ceremony, which took place at The Eastbury Hotel.
Along with helping present each of the winners and runners up with their certificates, Margaret presented the Best Place to Work award, on behalf of sponsors Sherborne Town Council, to the deserving winner Café D’Urberville.
Businesses, both large and small, independent shops, artisans, and market stall holders all contribute to the success of a thriving town and to be able to celebrate, recognise and promote them all through these awards is so important.
