Last week saw Sherborne businesses and organisations meeting at The Digby Hall to discuss ideas for how best to spend the funds received by the town, as part of winning the Let’s Celebrate Towns Sustainability Award.
There were some fantastic ideas and lots of discussion and as a result of this meeting, a new steering group is being put together to further develop the various projects discussed and see if any of them are viable for implementation.
The steering group will report directly to the town council who will oversee any projects and allocate the funding.
