This weekend – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June is set to be a busy one with the Sherborne Summer Festival taking place on Saturday from 11am to 10pm and Pride on Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
Both will include music and entertainment and take place in Pageant Gardens.
Free parking will be available, over the whole weekend, in all Dorset Council car parks.

Also taking place on Saturday is the dedication of the new memorial bench on the Abbey Green at 10am – everyone welcome.
On Sunday there is an open afternoon at the Platinum Reserve, situated at the end of Hunts Mead, from 2pm.
EuCAN volunteers and contractors have been working with Sherborne Town Council for several years to manage the small but very biodiverse area of grassland and scrub at the Platinum Reserve.
This season over 30 flower spikes of Bee Orchids were counted and spread more widely over the field than in previous years.
We invite you to come and have a look at all the wildlife. There will be volunteers on hand to welcome you to the meadow between 2pm and 4pm.
If the weather is favourable, there should be plenty of wildlife to see and our volunteers will help you identify the flora and fauna.
