The Repair Cafe – Sherborne was created to encourage people to repair and reuse items that might otherwise end up in landfill. Volunteers with repairing skills, aim to fix all manner of items, thereby saving their owners money and helping to reduce our carbon footprint.

People are encouraged to extend the life of existing domestic objects and they may even learn a thing or two about repairing items themselves.
Volunteer repairers donate their skills, so all the Repair Cafe asks is for a donation towards operation costs. We can accept almost any item – clothing, ceramic, ornaments, mechanical, woodwork, jewellery, textiles.

Please visit us on the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 10 am to 12.30 pm (last repair at 12.15pm), at the Cheap Street Church Hall, 54 Cheap Street, Sherborne, DT9 3BJ.

If you aren’t sure if we can repair it, send a photo to our team, using the email address below and we will check before you come in.
For more information, email repaircafesherborne@gmail.com or find us on Facebook by searching for Repair Cafe – Sherborne.
Volunteers are always welcome.
