On Monday 22nd May Councillor Margaret Crossman became the new Mayor of Sherborne at a ceremony which took place in the Digby Hall, on Hound Street.
The ceremony was very well attended by businesses and organisations across the town, along with councillors and staff.
As well as Cllr Crossman being made Mayor, Cllr Coleridge-Matthews also became Deputy Mayor for the coming year.
We were really pleased to have members of the Sherborne Douzelage and Sherborne-Granville Twinning Association at the ceremony.
A big thank you to Andrei Silich who was the Swordbearer for the evening and led the procession into the hall.
