On Monday 10 June 2024 the Mayor’s Reception took place in the Digby Hall, on Hound Street.
Following the election of Councillor Robin Legg as Mayor of Sherborne and Councillor Jill Warburton as Deputy Mayor at the Annual Statutory Meeting on Monday 13 May, outgoing mayor Councillor Margaret Crossman gave a speech regarding her year. This was followed by Robin giving his thoughts on the year to come.
The evening event was well attended by businesses and organisations from across the town, along with members of the youth council, councillors and staff.
Councillor Jill Warburton also became Deputy Mayor, for the coming year, at the ceremony.
