This year’s Remembrance Service takes place on Sunday 12 November. A procession will be formed at the Digby Hall Car Park, Hound Street from 10.15am in readiness to move off at 10.40am. It will be led by Sherborne Town Band and will march to the Abbey where wreaths will be laid at approximately 11am, following the 2 minutes silence.
Sherborne Town Band will play music while the wreaths are being laid, along with the Last Post, Reveille and Sunset.
A service will then take place in the Abbey which will last around 45 minutes. After the service the band will march the parade off again.
