The bunting and lamp-post signs are up and, along with the rest of the country, we are getting ready for the Coronation celebrations at the weekend. Sherborne Town Council has been working with the Sherborne Summer Festival and Sherborne Chamber of Trade & Commerce to bring residents and visitors a fun, entertainment packed weekend for all.

Saturday from 2pm
Live Bands playing until 9.45pm – Mid Life Crisis, Sherborne Town Band, Bad Edukation, Black Dog Blues Band, Bad Uncle, Tempus Fugit, Ska-Kives and Livewired (headlining Saturday night).
Food & Drink – Grilled ‘n’ chilled, Candy Cabin, Digby Tap, Laycock Cider, Viper Gin, Oliver’s and Kafe Fontana.
Stalls – Sophie Sparkles – glitter tattoos, Vegan & Soya – bath bombs, soaps & earrings, Charity Driftwood, Marianne – painted pottery, Country Crafts – baby clothes.
Children’s Entertainment – Punch & Judy show & Pinkie.
Sunday from 2pm
Live Bands playing until 8pm – Fiddleback, Al O’Kane Band, Flatland Boogie Band, The Moonshine Hillbillies and The Disciples (headling Sunday night).
After the bands have finished playing at 8pm, there will be a Spider Disco and then, when it’s dark enough, a Laser Show.
Food & Drink – Pizza Pasta Mondo, Digby Tap, Laycock Cider, Viper Gin, Oliver’s and Kafe Fontana.
Stalls – Marianne – painted pottery, Country Crafts – baby clothes.
Children’s Entertainment – Punch & Judy show & Pinkie.
There will be a raffle drawn at approx. 6.30pm
There is free parking, on both Saturday and Sunday, in Dorset Council car parks.
