At the Annual Statutory Meeting on Monday 9 May 2022 Cllr Juliet Pentolfe was elected the new Mayor of Sherborne for the ensuing year.
Cllr Pentolfe signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office and the outgoing Mayor, Cllr Anne Hall invested her with the Chain of Office.
Sherborne Town Council place on record its thanks to Cllr Anne Hall for the way in which she has carried out her duties as Town Mayor during the past year.
At the same meeting Cllr Matt Hall was elected Deputy Town Mayor. Both Mayor, Cllr Pentolfe and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Matt Hall are pictured above wearing their Chains of Office.
