The Town Proclamation will take place on Sunday 11 September at 3 pm in the Pageant Gardens.
The Proclamation of the new King will be led by Councillor Juliet Pentolfe, Mayor of Sherborne.
Members of the community wishing to be present are welcome to attend this short service.
The Reverend Martin Lee will also offer prayers followed by a two-minute silence.
