Water Garden coming soon to Pageant Gardens

During the month of June 2021 the pond area of Pageant Gardens will be undergoing some big changes. The current water feature will be replaced with a water garden designed to enhance the area and benefit the local community.

Water garden plan for Pageant Gardens

The new area will consist of 4 water features which include an area of differently sized, stacked, slate spheres, a spillway bowl and basin, 3 bubbling rocks and a main waterfall with secret pond and underground rainwater storage reservoir.

At the centre of the water garden will be a circular area with a curved, hardwood bench and oak seating cubes. Resin bound gravel pathways will lead off of this in various directions passing through planted beds, an oak root stumpery and all within close proximity of the water areas.

Additional seating cubes will be placed adjacent to the slate spheres and spillway bowl water features.

Water feature areas and new beds will be planted up with a mixture of semi mature, evergreen and hardy, herbaceous plants.

All non-pathways will be dressed using a decorative mini bark.

Formal notices will be put up in the location whilst work is taking place and we apologise in advance for any noise or disruption which may take place during the construction.

We hope you like it as much as we do.
